This month a major step in the development of Playa Vista has been achieved, with the first concrete being poured at the site. Specifically, concrete is being poured into the troughs for the blindings which will support the retaining walls.

The work is currently taking place on the phase 1 area of the site, which has now been correctly leveled for construction. Elsewhere on the site, terracing work continues for subsequent phases. Concrete production infrastructure is being assembled at the entrance to the site.

Playa Vista's show apartment is getting close to completion. Finishing work on the interior is progressing quickly - the bathroom and kitchen are still to be kitted out.
